Energizing Morning Practices

How you start your day sets up the entire day.
Can you change it as the day goes on? Sure! You can make a shift at any moment.
But why not start out at your best?
Here are some of my favorite things to do to set up my day:
No digital until after I do the following :
Morning stretches
Morning gratitude/ prayer practice
Go outside, move, listen, smell, soak up the sun/ light, enjoy the peace and energy of the morning.
Wake up all the senses- practice being present and breathing in the moment.
Review my plan for the day.
Take a moment to breathe, talk with Al, have coffee and review the day.
Get dressed and back outside for chores.
Listen to or read something inspiring/ uplifting.
These all may be compressed into a short time frame of the day is packed and I didn’t wake up super early, but that’s ok.
Each day has a different rhythm around here.
We like variety!
The key is do what works for you, just make sure you take that time.
