Jerky Recipe:
for 2 lbs. 12 oz of raw meat (Approximately)
4 TBSP Braggs Aminos, Coconut Aminos or low sodium soy sauce
1/3-1/2 c water
3/4 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
4 drops hot sauce (more to taste)
1/2 tsp liquid smoke
3-1/2 tsp sea salt
3/4 tsp garlic powder
3/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/8 tsp stevia or pure cane sugar
Slice meat while partially frozen to get slices thin enough.
In a bowl, Mix and Cover with marinade seasoning overnight, cover bowl. Remove as much fat as possible. Lean roasts work really well for this.
Next day: place on dehydrator trays until fully dried out and crispy. Approx. 12 hours
Remove from dehydrator and pat any fat to soak up with paper towel.
Let cool completely and then store in a sealed container. Does not have to be refrigerated if consumed within a few weeks. Keep in cool, dry place and refrigerated for longest freshness.
