How to Navigate Chaos and Stay Productive

How many times a day do you say, “I’m so busy!”

 

Or,


“My life is just crazy right now.”


Or,

 
“I’m so busy I can’t see straight!”


Or some other permutation of this same sentiment…


How does it feel?

 
of chaotic?


Out of your control?


Frazzled?


Unfocused?


Unproductive?


Stressful?!

Try this on for size…


“I have a full plate and I’m grateful for everything on my plate.”


“I’m working through everything on my plate one bite at a time.”


“I chose these items on my plate at the buffet of life, and I love them all.”


“I can ask for help cutting up these items on my plate any time.”


That feels different right?


More peaceful…


More manageable…


More in control…


More productive.

 
Remember, you are always in control of how you respond to what is on your plate.

 
If it feels too full, maybe your eyes were bigger than your stomach…

 
You said “Yes”


too many things.

 
You can always say “No thank you” and take some things off your plate.

 
And if you can’t change some of the things on your plate at this moment, you can always choose to accept them for now and have gratitude for them at this stage.

 
You always have this choice.
