Pack a Snack Bag
 
A huge time and money saver
 
Do you have specific dietary requirements or goals? Or, like us, just live far away from options to stop and buy snacks/ meals? Or do you just want to save money on food?
 
If you have kids, This is especially helpful, and a huge time and money saver.
 
Some ideas for what to pack:
  • Fruit (apples, oranges)
  • Nuts (mixed or your favorite single nut).
  • Cut up leftover steak or other meats (include an ice pack if its warm out).
  • Cheese sticks, or cut up cheese chunks (Include use ice pack)
  • Yogurt cups (Include ice pack)
  • Granola bars (home made or bought)
  • Pre-packaged bars or crackers
  • Summer sausage or salami
  • Hard boiled eggs
  • Cucumbers
  • Dried fruit
  • Carrot sticks
  • Celery sticks
  • Cut up bell peppers
  • Dips such as hummus
  • Protein bars (home made or bought)
  • Nut butter and veggies/ fruit to dip
  • Sandwiches if you make ahead but these can get soggy and squished in transit
  • Olives
  • Roasted, crunchy, seasoned chickpeas
