What’s new in the blog?

Wild blackberries everywhere… and reading in a plum tree… and the fairy land in the woods I played in as a kid, around the spring for the house water.

Oh the fun of sharing it with Sage, who loves it as much as I did, and still do!

I’ll admit, it’s hard for me to stop and rest , especially this time of year.

I guess I was meant to, no matter what I think!

In fact, we no longer plant spinach in our garden. We pick wild lambs quarter instead! 

“Move their feet” is something I’ve heard my whole life when it comes to training and working horses. 

Without forward movement, you can’t train a horse, you don’t  have anything to work with.

Sounds basic right?

It is!

Yet so easy to forget,

To overlook,

To lose focus around.

The old saying… “It’s much easier to teach a horse something when they have a real job to do” is truly the essence of how we all learn right?
